On most Sundays the 10.15am service is a Communion (Eucharist) service at St Andrew's. This follows the Common Worship liturgy, and around 90 adults and 15 children typically attend.  Junior Church runs at the same time as the Communion service and provides activities for children and young people between the ages of 2 and 14.

Approximately once per quarter this service includes prayers for healing

Christenings (also called Baptisms) often take place during the 10.15am Communion service at St Andrew's.

However, on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10:15am there is worship at both St Andrew's and Andy's:

  • At St Andrew’s there is Morning Worship. This is normally a more reflective service and music is led by our small orchestra.
  • Andy’s meets in Backwell School (6th form centre) for Informal Worship for all ages. On alternate months activites are provided for children and young people during most of the time of worship.

(There is usually no communion service at 10.15am on the second Sunday of the month, but communion services are usually held at 8.00am and 6.15pm on these Sundays.)

This is the usual pattern of services at 10.15am but there may be changes for various reasons - please check the calendar for details of the services on any particular Sunday.
