The 9.15am Sunday service takes place at St Bridget's, Chelvey. The format of the service usually follows this pattern:
  • 1st Sunday of the month - Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer - traditional language)with a chance to share fellowship after the service over coffee.
  • 2nd Sunday of the month - Morning Worship (Common Worship - modern language).
  • 3rd Sunday of the month - Morning Prayer - a more traditional style of service in modern language.

St Bridgets is a welcoming community of worshippers, smaller in number than St Andrew's but rich in a vision to make St Bridgets a central and practical centre for the village of Chelvey.

The congregation is keen to play their part in caring for the environment and solar panels have been installed. Over the last few years a small building outside the church has been constructed that now provides practical facilities, such as a toilet and akitchen.

All are welcomed to worship in this beautiful, ancient church.
