Safeguarding

Safeguarding in the church community – making our churches safe for children, young people and vulnerable adults – is important to the churches in the benefice, and is everyone’s responsibility. Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Beth Ansell  (Telephone: 01275 529121 / email: safeguarding@saintandrewsbackwell.org.uk)

If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention call the emergency services on 999. Do not delay.

If you have any concerns regarding any Safeguarding issues, please contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01749 685135 or via www.bathandwells.org.uk/diocese/safeguarding/reporting-concerns-or-abuse/
