Welcome

St Andrew's and St Bridget's are CofE churches serving the communities of Backwell, Chelvey and Brockley.

Together they form the Benefice of Backwell with Chelvey and Brockley, which includes St Nicholas Church.

It has felt like a long journey, but we thank God that a new Rector will be joining the Benefice in February. Meanwhile we are still supported by our lively Ministry Team, working alongside the church family and buoyed up by prayer. Come and join us for the many, varied services up to and through the turn of the year.

SAFEGUARDING

Safeguarding in the church community – making our churches safe for children, young people and vulnerable adults – is important to the churches in the benefice, and is everyone’s responsibility.

If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention call the emergency services on 999. Do not delay.

If you have any concerns regarding any Safeguarding issues, please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01749 685135 or visit their website: https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/diocese/safeguarding/reporting-concerns-or-abuse/
